Dartmoor National Park

Venturing across this breath-taking moorland, gazing out over endless views, Dartmoor is just the place for walkers and explorers. The iconic Haytor Rocks should be your first stop before you visit the crashing waterfalls of Becky Falls.
Besides the rugged beauty of this part of Mid Devon, you may be pleased to find that there are plenty of fun attractions to entertain adult groups and children on their holidays. Dartmoor Zoo, Buckfast Butterfly Farm and Dartmoor Otter Sanctuary and Castle Drogo.

Chulmleigh Golf Course
18 Hole Par 3 – Pay & Play
It is a family owned and operated course for all players regardless of experience. No Handicap certificate is required and no need to book a tee time. Clubs, bags and trolleys for hire. Golf Pro Shop, Club House with Licensed Bar. Home-made cakes and refreshments available. South facing patio overlooking the course. Relaxed dress code. Memberships available.
Woody Bay Station

Enjoy a memorable day of steam trains at Woody Bay. The Award Winning Woody Bay Station is an original Lynton & Barnstaple Railway station, opened in 1898, and closed along with the rest of the railway in September 1935. Purchased in 1995, what you can see today is just the beginning of an exciting project to rebuild one of the world’s most famous and picturesque narrow gauge railways; the legendary Lynton & Barnstaple Railway.

HOME OF THE HALDON GOLD CUP – Set in a stunning location surrounded by beautiful Devon countryside, Exeter Racecourse prides itself on being one of the UK’s most progressive tracks. The site has excellent facilities and transport links to match competitive racing throughout the National Hunt season.
As always, there is much to look forward to in the racing season, with 17 days of quality Jump racing. Thousands of racing fans visit Exeter racecourse every year.
